So it was, one Sunday a few weeks ago when my dear old Dad had a fall at home that ultimately ended his life.
For all that he was a good age - 84 years old - and had become increasingly frail of late, it still came as a terrible shock to us all. As such, I'm afraid all work on the blog ceased - in fact all work on just about everything ceased - as we all dealt with what needed to be dealt with.
So here we are, three weeks later, picking up the pieces and trying to regain some sense of normality in life.
I know he was terrifically proud of what I'd achieved - and was achieving - with the blog here and indeed I have no intentions of stopping blogging so hopefully you will forgive the inactivity and be patient while I get back into harness again!
As such, Rhubarb and Ginger as an individual entity pays its respects to a thoroughly decent, gentle man who will be so terribly missed.
